Connecting and managing your Alta Labs access points, switches and routers is effortless with the Alta Control management interface. Engineered to centralise and streamline hardware management, this easy-to-use platform delivers complete control and visibility at your edge and across all connected client devices. From a single pane of glass, Alta Control allows you to effectively reconfigure and monitor your entire network implementation both onsite and remotely.  

Alta Control supports multiple sites with an intuitive site selection drop-down tool and offers secure content filtering and network administration. Each site has its own dedicated data set, which facilitates independent, frictionless management for multiple sites quickly and easily with a few clicks.  

Alta Control is offered as a cloud-based management solution, a local self-hosted downloadable controller or as an onsite hardware controller. 

The Tech Geeks stocks the Alta Control hardware solution, a local controller that facilitates seamless management for all your Alta Labs network devices and sites. All tools available in the cloud-based version of Alta Control are included in the local controller. With the on-premises controller, you can rapidly deploy and manage up to 1000 Alta Labs devices and sites and simultaneously support thousands of connected client devices.  

Who is it for?  

The Alta Control hardware controller is the hub from which you operate your Alta Labs hardware appliances. A single controller will easily facilitate seamless management of multiple projects in smaller network environments.   

For more complex network scenarios, you can add a controller to each project depending on specific requirements.  Remote site and device management may require you to set up a port forward in your firewall. Depending upon the type of firewall, it will securely pass traffic to the Alta controller from your WAN IP address.
