Refund policy
We know that in some instances either a product we have sold you will become faulty, was shipped incorrectly or was purchased wrongly. We want you to receive the best service possible and we will endeavor to work with you on a solution that results in the best outcome for all involved.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unopened or unused, unregistered, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@thetechgeeks.com. Please do not ship any items to us before first contacting our service team and receiving the correct returns address.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Please note that if you have broken the factory seals, opened the box or removed the outer/inner coverings then this is considered as opened and cannot be returned for a full refund. In most instances we can still accept the item for a refund, but a 20% restocking fee + the initial delivery cost of the item will be withheld.
If you have registered the item, then we are probably unable to accept it for a refund, unless faulty, but please do contact our team for further help.
Where pre-configuration or setup has taken place
Where a product has been pre-configured or a solution custom designed, we will accept the goods back for a full refund only in the instance that after working with our engineers no solution can be found to make the setup work as designed where;
a. No changes have been made to the positioning of the devices or requirements of the setup
b. All location information, including clear line of sight, buildings or obstructions has not changed since the original design.
If you have choosen a configuration or custom setup solution and change your mind and would like to return items, all shipping, configuration and setup charges will not be eligible for a refund. All goods can be returned if in their original boxes and have not been used. If opened or registered. please refer to the section above - Exceptions / non-returnable items
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
