[NanoStation Loco 5AC - Previously Known as the NS-5ACL]

Classic Nano Station design with updated proprietary airMAX ac chipset and dedicated management Wi-Fi for easy UISP Mobile app support and fast setup. Excellent solution for a simple PtP bridge or use as a PtMP station (CPE).

The NanoStation Loco AC M5 is known for its much smaller size than the other NanoStation, which makes it ideal for residential or small building use. It has a good throughput of around 150 mbps, sufficient to cover multitudes of devices and users simultaneously. It has a great reach at 13dBi through its integrated antenna. It operates at a frequency of GHz, which is ideal if you want to maximize throughput. This signal is seldom interrupted by noise or clutter as most devices and appliances work on 2.4GHz frequency.

The unit also makes use of the AirMax technology and its TDMA protocol. It lets you compartmentalize time schedules so you’ll be able to enjoy a smoother transmission and receipt of wireless connection. Moreover, you are also able to reduce latency, even if there are already a lot of devices that are connected into the network. It works very well along with quality of service so you can prioritize the allocation of the available bandwidth.

The NanoStation Loco AC M5 is also compatible with a PoE (power over Ethernet setup) so you can deal with fewer wires. Moreover, you can now reset its power directly from the main source than on the equipment itself, saving you the hassle.

Features:

New Antenna
Improved Design

Learn how to create the perfect Point to Point connection

Step One - Get to know how a point to point works

Step Two - Choose your Point to Point device

There are many factors that affect a point to point to point connection, including distance, elevation, obstructions etc.   Please do reach out to our team if you are not sure.  We have listed some of the most common devices below, which should be good for connections that are generally less than 2km in length.

Step Three - You will probably need some way to mount it

Step Four - You will need to power it

Many of the devices will come with a PoE injector in the box.  If they don't you will need to either power it from a PoE switch or a PoE injector.

Not sure what PoE is, this video may help.
