High-Performance airMAX® ac Bridge Incorporating a dish reflector design with proprietary airMAX® ac technology, the PowerBeam™ ac is ideal for CPE deployments requiring maximum performance.

The PowerBeam ac directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth. With the focus in one direction, the PowerBeam ac blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.

Featuring high performance and innovative mechanical design, the PowerBeam ac is versatile and cost-effective to deploy.

It launches with PtP functionality, and a client mode feature will be added with a future firmware upgrade.

The Ubiquiti PBE-5AC-500 also includes a 500mm radome to shield the radio from harsh environments. POE and Australian power cable included.

Features:

Highly Efficient Antenna Beam Performance
Custom Ubiquiti® airMAX® ac Processor
Up to 450+ Mbps Real TCP/IP Throughput
Innovative Snap and Lock Assembly
Proprietary InnerFeed™ Technology

Learn how to create the perfect Point to Point connection

Step One - Get to know how a point to point works

Step Two - Choose your Point to Point device

There are many factors that affect a point to point to point connection, including distance, elevation, obstructions etc.   Please do reach out to our team if you are not sure.  We have listed some of the most common devices below, which should be good for connections that are generally less than 2km in length.

Step Three - You will probably need some way to mount it

Step Four - You will need to power it

Many of the devices will come with a PoE injector in the box.  If they don't you will need to either power it from a PoE switch or a PoE injector.

Not sure what PoE is, this video may help.
